Mini‑Scribe gives you a compact view for quick capture and review while you work in the PMS.
Why It Helps: Mini Scribe stays out of your way, allowing you to focus on the patient and the PMS until you are ready to review and work on the note. All actions you take in Mini‑Scribe sync with the full Scribe view automatically.
How To Use Mini‑Scribe
- Click the Minimize button in the top corner of the Scribe window to switch to the compact view
- Use the compact controls to start, pause, and stop recording
- Click Expand in the mini view to return to the full Scribe window
You can collapse Mini‑Scribe even further. When you click the pen in this collapsed state, the mini view opens, not the full window, so you can resume recording without switching contexts.

- Patient and provider information
- Template name
- Microphone button
Tip: Enable Auto‑Start recording in Settings to begin capturing as soon as you open a visit. This minimizes clicks and gets you recording faster. Blinking pen = recording in progress. If the pen blinks, your audio is being captured.
