Creating Your First Note

🆕 Create Visit

Click the "New" button to start a fresh visit. Input the patient name and provider.

Integration: If Scribe is integrated with the Practice Management System (PMS), patient and provider information will be auto‑populated from your PMS. You can still change the patient's name and provider if needed. You can use the provider dropdown to select another provider.

🧩 Select Template

Choose an appropriate template for your visit type from the template dropdown menu on the right side. Common templates include Comprehensive Examination, Hygienist Examination, and more specific visit types.

🎙️ Start Recording

Click the microphone button at the bottom of the screen to begin recording your conversation with the patient. Speak naturally — the AI will understand the context and organize information appropriately.

⏸️ Pause To Generate Notes

When you've gathered enough information, click "Pause" to temporarily stop the recording. Denti.AI Scribe will process the conversation and generate a note based on your selected template.

✏️ Review and Edit

Review the generated note for accuracy. You can resume recording to add more information, which will update the note while preserving existing content.

📤 Transfer Note

Once your note is complete, you can easily transfer it wherever needed. Use the "Copy" button to copy the entire note to your clipboard, allowing you to paste it into other applications.

Integration: If integrated with your PMS, click "Save to PMS" to automatically transfer the completed note to your PMS.
